Course Description
:Introduction to Housekeeping; its Organizational Layout, Sections and Staffrng; Types of Guest Rooms; Cleaning Methods; Use of Materials and Equipment; Maids Service; Floor; Practice Daily and Periodic Cleaning of Rooms and Public Areas; Cleaning and Polishing of Furniture Metal and Telephone; Floors and Carpet Shampooing; Handling Situations.
Course Objective
:This course aims to impart theoretical knowledge in the basic housekeeping functions and systems and to acquaint practical skills for the students with general responsibilities of the housekeeping department in a hotel.
